Do you know how to determine your toilet seat size?

The #1 cause of returned bidet seats is incorrect toilet seat size.  Basically toilets come in two shapes, round or elongated (oval) and they are pretty universal, at least in the US.

Generally if the distance from the bolts that hold the seat to the bowl to the front of the bowl is around 16 1/2 inches, the bowl is ROUND.  If the distance is closer to 18 1/2 inches or more, the bowl is ELONGATED.

All our bidet seats are adjustable front to back so you will be able to line it up with whatever toilet you have.  We’ve installed hundreds of seats now and have not run into a problem getting them to line up.

A good visual

When you look at the picture here, it seems obvious which is which, but in the real world, it’s not always so easy to tell what your toilet seat size is.

Toilet-Seat-MeasurementsGrab a tape measure and do a quick check.  Measure from the center of the bolts that hold the toilet seat to the outer, front edge of the bowl.  NOTE:  do not measure your existing SEAT, you need to measure the porcelain bowl.

We found this video that lays out just how to determine your toilet seat size very nicely.
